Paul Hartley 50th Liberty Trophy Cap

Just before the Liberty Trophy game today the county Vice President Barry Attwood made a belated 50th Liberty appearance presentation to the Vipers Paul Hartley.

It is ironic that Paul actually reached the big 50 against Lincolnshire last season, he now becomes the twenty second player in the county to reach the milestone.

Considering the Liberty Trophy has been a straight knock out and Paul made his debut in 2003 to rack up 50 caps in 21 years shows the love affair Durham have with the competition.

The lad is having a tremendous twelve months and is a credit to the sport both on and off the green.
