After the disappointment of the National Inter County tie the lads bounced back in the Midland Senior League with a 48 shot win over Yorkshire at Darlington
Again the selected team had to a be altered which is becoming the norm but well done to the reserves for stepping into the fold so successfully.
Across the green we had 4 winning rinks, a draw and a loss.
The pick of the bunch was the rink of Brian Poulter (Gateshead), John Lynch (Darlington), Alan Jobling (Gateshead) and Brian Houghton (Stanley) who rattled off a 31-10 win.
Points wise it was a 19-3 return and puts the lads in a strong position to top the group going into 2025.
