EIBA O60’s v Lincolnshire Result
Durham 97 v 140 Lincolnshire

After the good first round win over Cumbria the wheels came off at York.
As expected it was a very different Lincolnshire line up to the one that we battered in the Midland League clash.
To be honest the York green hasn’t been a good hunting ground for the lads and so it proved again as they crashed out 140-97.
Across the green we only mustered a couple of winning rinks.
The Vipers Mal Peach, Dave Paterson and John Bennett plus Hartlepool’s Steve Slaughter had a cracking 24-16 win over Danny Brown.
A big shout out to the Vipers Dale Oram’s rink who recovered from 20-6 down to get home 23-20.
Sadly the other four rinks went down by a combined 54 shots, so in those famous bowls words…… “always next year”
